How to make a Roblox nightclub

Quick answer

Plan the rooms before you place a part, build at real avatar scale, light every room, play music you have the rights to, then add the systems that keep people there: a bar, tipping, VIP and events. Walk every route with a tall avatar before you open.

1. Plan the rooms first

Write the room list before you build anything. Most clubs need a spawn or entrance, a main dance floor with a DJ booth, a bar, lounge seating, a VIP room, restrooms and an outdoor area such as a pool deck or rooftop.

Put the dance floor on the main walking route so the room never looks empty, the bar on the way to it, and VIP upstairs or behind a door. A one-room hangout fits in about 100 × 100 studs; two floors with a stage and a feature room fits in about 200 × 200.

2. Build to avatar scale

A default avatar is about 5 studs tall, but club players love tall bodies. Make doors at least 6 studs wide and about 9.5 tall, keep hallways 5.5 studs wide or more, and give ceilings plenty of headroom. Keep stair steps shallow and walk up every staircase yourself.

Never let parts overlap. Two faces in the same spot flicker (z-fighting), and parts buried inside each other make collisions feel sticky. Pieces should butt up against each other, and walls should stop short at corners.

3. Light every room

A dark club reads as an empty one. Use PointLights for bulbs and downlights, SpotLights for the stage and DJ booth, and SurfaceLights for LED strips and signs, with the Neon material on the strips themselves. Set Lighting.Technology to Future so local lights look their best.

Turn shadows off on small fill lights and keep each light's range about the size of its room; that is most of what keeps a lit club fast. Light the outside too: uplights on the walls, sign glow, and path lights from the spawn to the door.

4. Add music everyone hears in sync

Play one shared track for the whole server and start it from the server clock, so players who join late hear the same moment as everyone else. Only use audio you have the rights to, such as the licensed music in the Creator Store or tracks you uploaded and own.

5. Add the systems that make people stay

Walls get people in; systems keep them. A working bar gives staff a job and customers something to do, tipping lets players reward DJs and hosts, VIP rooms can check a gamepass with MarketplaceService:UserOwnsGamePassAsync, and staff ranks can come from your group with Player:GetRankInGroup. Regular events bring people back.

6. Keep it smooth on phones

Most club players are on phones. Turn on StreamingEnabled for big maps, keep every mesh under Roblox's 20,000-triangle limit, reuse the same mesh instead of many unique copies, and test in Studio's device emulator in landscape.

7. Test before you open

Walk every entrance and route with a tall avatar, try every door and staircase, then run a test night with a few friends on phones. Fix what they bump into before the first real crowd arrives.

Skip the build: ready-made

We sell finished, tested systems for exactly this:

  • FIZZ BAR KIT — A working bar for your club: staff go on duty, customers order, bartenders mix and serve.
  • TIP JARS — Hold a tip jar, walk up to someone, send them Robux. Works on PC, console and mobile.
  • BLACK EMPIRE EVENT BOT — Members request events, staff approve them from a DM, and RSVPs, reminders and check-ins run themselves.
  • HALLOWEEN DECOR — Dress a whole club for Halloween: porch, door, walls and lawn, with the glow already placed.
