How to make a working bar in a Roblox club
Quick answer
A working bar needs five parts: who can work it, an order flow, something fun for the bartender to do, a way to hand the drink over, and an effect when the customer drinks. The server decides every step; the client only asks.
1. Decide who can work the bar
Common choices are a gamepass (MarketplaceService:UserOwnsGamePassAsync), a group rank (Player:GetRankInGroup) or your admin ranks. Check it on the server at the moment a player goes on duty, not once when they join.
2. Build the order flow
The customer orders at the counter with a ProximityPrompt, the order shows up for staff, a bartender takes it, makes it and serves it. Keep one copy of the order on the server; the client sends requests like "take order 12" and the server checks they are allowed.
3. Make making drinks fun
A bartender who just clicks a button gets bored. A short mixing minigame, bottle stations to pour from and a tray to carry drinks across the room turn the job into something people queue up to do.
4. Drink effects that do not break the game
Keep effects short and harmless: a glow, confetti, shrinking, floating. Use a meter or cooldown so players cannot stack effects forever, and clean every effect up when a player resets or leaves.
5. Keep it all-ages friendly
Roblox only allows experiences to depict alcohol in its restricted maturity tier for age-verified players. For an all-ages club, call drinks sodas, mocktails or potions, and keep real brand names off bottles (brands are an IP and moderation risk too).
6. Phones first
Most of your bartenders will be on phones. Use big buttons, prompts that work with touch and gamepad, and menus that fit a landscape phone without covering the jump button.
